Diamond Reserve Demerara rums are a collection of rums produced on the banks of the Demerara River and at the only remaining distillery in Guyana – the Diamond Distillery. These rums feature the familiar fruity and intensely aromatic notes of Demerara rums, generous in flavor and perfect for mixing crafted cocktails or for sipping.

We are the only remaining distillery in the Demerara Region. Our Diamond Reserve Demerara Rums are a celebration of our stills and the terroir and how they influence the spirit. These rums authentically combine origin, tradition, and passion.

The 151 Demerara Rum is a blend of rums aged one to two years, from three of our famous heritage stills – the French Savalle Still, the EHP Wooden Coffey Still and the Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still. With aromas of dried fruits, butterscotch, soft mellow spices and a hint of cigar, his rum is bold and flavorful.

Diamond Reserve 151 Demerara Rum delivers a bold and intense profile, true to its high-proof nature. On the nose, it opens with deep notes of burnt sugar, molasses, and dark toffee, layered with hints of overripe banana, charred oak, and baking spices. The palate is powerful and full-bodied, showcasing rich flavors of caramelized brown sugar, dried fruits, and warm spices like clove and cinnamon, balanced by smoky undertones and a touch of vanilla. The finish is long, fiery, and warming, leaving behind a lingering impression of dark molasses and spiced oak. Best used with care in cocktails or for flaming presentations, this rum embodies the strength and character of traditional Demerara styles.
