Description
Rivaton Vieilles Bouilles Red Blend
Domaine Rivaton is a 12 Hectare estate located in the commune of Latour de France and owned by Frédéric Rivaton. He strives to respect the identity of the terroir of his area and the development of its shale and gneiss soil types. His vineyard is full of very old vines (80 – 110 years old) that are producing wines of an incredible quality. Frédéric Rivaton has been making wine since 2004 in Latour de France.
Rivaton Vieilles Bouilles Red Blend is a blend of mostly Carginan, with some Syrah and Grenache. The wine is aged for 1 year in concrete tanks to preserve freshness and the flavor that each varietal brings to the wine. The wine showcases a great balance of fruit, freshness and earthiness on both the nose and palate.
The wine does need some time to decant in order to enjoy it to its fullest potential!
