Our whiskey is named from the town where we make it. We started distilling in Tullamore in 1829 and we’re still going strong. In our corner in the heart of Ireland, we don’t have a fancy resort, but we do have a world-class distillery where we make the world’s original triple-distilled, triple-cask-finished, triple-blended Irish whiskey. Our award-winning whiskey tastes so smooth and delicious, it has become the number two brand in the world.

Tullamore D.E.W., first established in 1829, has a rich history rooted in passion and vision for whiskey-making. The brand takes its name from the town of Tullamore in Ireland, home to nearly 13,000 people, and from Daniel Edmund Williams, one of Ireland’s greatest distillers. Williams began at the distillery as a stable boy at just 15 years old and rose to become Distillery Manager by the age of 25, leaving a legacy that lives on in every bottle of Tullamore D.E.W. whiskey.

Tullamore D.E.W. Original is crafted from a unique blend of three spirits, grain whiskey for sweetness, malt whiskey for fruit notes, and pot still whiskey for spice, creating a perfectly balanced flavor profile. Its approachable complexity comes from the use of three types of grain, triple distillation, and the artful blending of all three Irish whiskeys. To enhance depth and harmony, it is triple cask-matured over several years in traditional refill barrels, ex-bourbon barrels, and ex-sherry butts.

Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey presents a pale golden amber hue with a light, inviting aroma of citrus, green apple, pear, vanilla, honey, and gentle malt notes. On the palate, it is smooth and softly textured, offering layers of sweet malt, toffee, honey, dried fruit, subtle spice, and hints of almond. The finish is clean, medium in length, and well-balanced, with an approachable elegance at 40% ABV.
