Wild Turkey Longbranch

Longbranch was created in 2016 as a collaboration between Wild Turkey master distiller Eddie Russell and actor Matthew McConaughey, who has served as the brand’s creative director since the partnership began. The idea was simple: what happens when a Kentucky bourbon takes a road trip to Texas. The result is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon that carries Wild Turkey’s traditional character but finishes with a distinctly Texan twist.

After aging eight years in American oak, the bourbon is refined through a proprietary filtration of Texas mesquite and oak charcoals, a step that softens the whiskey and layers in a subtle smokiness not found in other Wild Turkey expressions. Bottled at 86 proof, it’s built to be approachable and easy sipping without straying far from Wild Turkey’s signature earthy, full-bodied style. It’s equally at home neat, on the rocks, or as the base of a simple highball like a Branchwater, made with lime and sparkling water.
