Bill’s game may not have progressed, but the Sandbagger cocktail gained fame at local bars and clubhouses. That’s when Bill saw the potential to possibly market it as a drink, so he trademarked the Sandbagger name. It proved a savvy move, though Bill never got around to developing it. His son has inherited the trademarks and took on the project as a way to honor his late father.
