Chica Chida was born in 2024 out of a simple, irresistible idea: what if peanut butter and agave spirit came together to create something nobody expected but everybody needed. Founded by Piermont Brands’ Sam Hirsch and Charles Sachs, the brand was built as a deliberate rebellion against the stuffy, overly serious norms of the spirits industry. Its partnership with comedian and media personality Caleb Pressley came about organically when founding partner Brian Axelrod handed Pressley a sample during a casual visit, and one sip was all it took.

Crafted in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, Chica Chida is distilled from smoky Espadin agave and blended with allergen-free peanut butter extract, making it technically an agave spirit rather than a tequila. The result is a bold, creamy, one-of-a-kind shot experience that has built a passionate community of fans across the country. The brand’s slogan says it all: Respect La Mera Mera. Respect the Boss.
