Description
Corralejo Reposado Tequila
Hacienda Corralejo was founded in 1755 and became one of the first estates in Mexico to produce tequila for commercial sale. It remains one of the few distilleries outside Jalisco with official rights to produce tequila. Every part of our process still takes place here, from agave harvest to final bottling. Our agave grows in the high-altitude fields of Guanajuato, where volcanic soil and strong sunlight create a bold, natural flavor. This land is more than our home. It is the reason Corralejo tastes the way it does.
Corralejo is one of the few tequila producers with the legal right to operate outside Jalisco. While that region dominates production, we remain rooted in Guanajuato, a province with its own deep tradition of tequila-making. Here, we take an artisanal and fiercely independent approach that honors the legacy of our land. We produce tequila exclusively with 100 percent Blue Weber agave, grown primarily on our own estate fields. Our location may set us apart, but it’s our values that define us: heritage, craftsmanship, and the courage to do things differently.
100% Blue Weber agave grown on our Guanajuato estate and double distilled using the centuries-old Charentais method for remarkable smoothness and aroma. Corralejo Reposado Tequila presents a light straw appearance and opens with inviting aromas of sweet vanilla, honey, gentle spice, and subtle hints of oak. On the palate, bright lemon-lime notes are balanced by peppercorn, honey, oak, and cooked agave, creating a lively yet rounded flavor profile. The finish is smooth and warm with a medium-bodied mouthfeel, making this 40% ABV reposado both approachable and well-structured.
