Great Jones Rye Whiskey

At the storied corner of Great Jones and Broadway, we built Manhattan’s first whiskey distillery since prohibition. Great Jones Boubron is crafted from the finest ingredients: Corn, barley and rye grain, all grown in the rich black dirt of the Empire State, and is then aged in white American oak barrels. The result is a smooth, eel-balanced bourbon, sweet with a touch of spice. The perfect celebration of the greatness and grit of NYC.

Great Jones Rye is crafted from ingredients grown in the legendary Black Dirt region of Warwick Valley, NY. Once the site of a prehistoric lake, the soil here is renowned for its nutrient-rich content which imbues a distinctive spice in our whiskeys. Our Rye is cut with Catskill Mountain water to create a uniquely New York spirit.

Great Jones Rye opens with a nose of aromatic spices, dry hay, and orchard fruit, setting the stage for a complex and inviting experience. On the palate, it delivers smooth vanilla layered with hints of black pepper and baking spice, creating a balanced and robust flavor profile. The finish reveals notes of chocolate malt, while the overall body is light to medium, making it approachable yet satisfying.
