Description
Jose Cuervo Reserva De La Familia Extra Añejo Tequila
In 1795, King Carlos V of Spain granted José Maria Guadalupe Cuervo y Montaño the first license to produce mezcal wine in the Tequila region. The history of the Cuervo family has always been linked to the development of the Tequila region and to the growing appreciation of the unique spirit throughout the world. From the beginning, we have always selected only the finest blue agave from our fields. In ante ovens of stone and clay the agave is baked, the sugars are extracted and then double distilled.
In celebration of our long tradition that spans more than 200 years, the family selects only the best of its tequilas, aging them in a private cellar, in new American and French oak barrels recently charred to ensure its rich, mellow flavor and golden color.
Thus we achieve what our closest friends call: The Family Reserve
Made using only the flavorful inner portion of hand-selected blue agave plants. Aged for a minimum of two years, the final blend includes tequila from reserves as old as 30 years. Each bottle is numbered, dated, and sealed in wax. All by hand.
