Lobetia Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon is a less common grape variety in Cuenca, but it thrives in the region’s vineyards due to the high altitude, extreme temperatures, and scarce rainfall. In terms of acidity, this Cabernet Sauvignon has medium to high acidity, providing a refreshing and lively character to the wine.
In terms of flavor, our Lobetia Cabernet Sauvignon has a complex range of flavors, including ripe black fruit, such as blackcurrants, blackberries, and plums, along with notes of herbs, such as mint and eucalyptus, and a hint of vanilla. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasant aftertaste of ripe fruit and spices.
Winemaking
By winemaker Ruth Fernández. The grapes are night harvested and immediately cold macerated before fermentation to ensure a vibrant and unique final product. Clarified with Bentonite. Physical filtration. Cold stabilization. No animal product used.

Organically Farmed. Organic vines planted in 2005. No chemical pesticides or herbicides used. No GMO Yeast Used. Less than 100ppm Sulfites.
