Description
90+ Cellars Lot 245 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a prestigious family-owned estate vineyard on Howell Mountain, a producer whose wines sell for over $150 a bottle. Howell Mountain sits above Napa’s fog layer at over 1,400 feet, and that elevation gives the vineyard intense, uninterrupted sunlight along with thick-skinned grapes, the combination that drives the wine’s deep, inky purple color. The mountain is known for wines with concentrated fruit alongside delicate floral and lifted herbal aromas, and this bottling carries that signature with tannins that are lush yet well integrated. It’s made to enjoy now or cellar for up to a decade, from a limited run of 600 cases of the 2024 vintage. It pairs well with steak kabobs, a marinated mushroom salad, or grilled venison.
