Description
Barton And Gustier Pouilly Fuissé
Barton And Gustier Pouilly Fuissé is crafted using a traditional winemaking process to create a supple, full-bodied white wine. The grapes are pressed prior to settling to achieve optimal clarity, followed by alcoholic fermentation between 20°C and 24°C (68°F–75°F). Malolactic fermentation then takes place, with subsequent racking and fining to refine the wine. Sourced from vineyards rooted in chalk and marl soils and shaped by a continental climate marked by cold, dry winters and hot, sunny summers, the wine is aged on its fine lees in vats to enhance texture and complexity.
Made from 100% Chardonnay, Barton And Gustier Pouilly Fuissé shows a bright yellow color with golden highlights. The nose is delicate and expressive, offering aromas of white flowers, particularly jasmine, alongside ripe peach and subtle flinty notes. On the palate, it is harmonious and rich, leading to a long, floral finish. It pairs beautifully with white meats and fish in sauce and is best served chilled between 10–12°C (50–54°F).
