Located on the historic Silverado Trail in Napa Valley’s Oak Knoll District, Black Stallion Estate Winery pays homage to the rich history of the 32-acre estate which was once home to the Silverado Equestrian Center. The property was purchased in 2010 by the Indelicato family, a fourth generation family-owned company founded in 1924. Sourcing from the most prestigious vineyards, the winery is committed to making only the most expressive wines.

Our Meritage Red Wine Blend highlights the wealth of grape growing in Napa Valley. The Cabernet Sauvignon is the main component of this blend and adds bold dark fruit flavors as well as layers of intense complexity and structure. The Malbec and Merlot soften and round out the blend, with brighter fruit and lower tannin levels. The Cabernet Franc adds a firm backbone with juicy acidity. On the nose, the aromas are cassis, sandalwood, and clove. The flavors deliver notes of ripe blackberry, maple syrup and dark cherry. The tannins are broad, layered, and smooth. The finish is rich and elegant.

On the nose, it offers layered aromatics of cassis, sandalwood, and clove alongside ripe blue and black fruit notes with subtle baking spice and espresso nuances.
