Bully Hill sits on top of a hill overlooking Keuka Lake in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of NY. The owner Walter Taylor is a part of the Taylor family which is located in Pleasant Hill, NY, just a stone’s throw from Bully Hill Winery. They have been making great NY wines for almost 100 years.

A Few Of Bully Hill’s Environmental Initiatives

1. We use recycled glass bottles, recycled boxes, and soy-based inks
2. We use Tangential-flow filtration which eliminates diatomaceous earth filter media and its problematic disposal
3. Grape pumice from our pressing facility is composted and recycled in our vineyards
4. Winery wastewater is recycled using fields of Reed Canary grass which are mowed for mulching our vineyards
5. We aim to reuse everything! Even fryer oil from our restaurant ends up powering vineyard tractors
