Description
Château Roc Meynard Bordeaux Blanc Sec
Château Roc Meynard is a small-production estate nestled in the village of Villegouge on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, 22 miles northeast of the city. The estate farms sustainably on a distinctive mix of calcareous clay hills and sand-clay coastal soils, terroir that lends the wine its signature gravelly minerality and bright, lifted character. The Bordeaux Blanc is an equal partnership of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, two grape varieties with a long and celebrated history together in the Bordeaux tradition. With only 15,000 bottles produced, this is a wine of genuine artisan scale. After fermentation, the wine rests on its lees for four months before bottling at the estate, a technique that builds texture and depth while preserving the variety’s natural freshness and aromatic intensity.
