Clos du Val’s Hirondelle estate-grown wines exemplify the beauty of blended expressions. They are a testament to a half-century of intentional farming and devotion to the land. Situated in a cool ‘valley within a valley,’ conditions prevail for gradual ripening of flavor and freshness. The variety of soils that fan out across Hirondelle are carefully planted to the five Bordeaux varieties, and the quality of each soil profile perfectly complements each grape’s character.

The 2022 Clos du Val Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon pours a deep, vivid ruby-garnet that reflects its classic Napa Cabernet character. On the nose, it greets with complex aromas of blackberry and blue plum framed by violet and hints of fresh herbs, red currants, stone, and sweet tobacco, suggesting both fruit intensity and aromatic finesse.
