Frenzy Mount Richmond Estate Sauvignon Blanc
Since 2009, Frenzy has been a celebration of Marlborough, New Zealand’s most iconic wine region. Nestled between the Richmond Mountain range to the north and the Wither Hills to the south, Marlborough enjoys a cool, steady maritime climate with warm, sunny days and dry conditions that are nothing short of perfect for growing Sauvignon Blanc. It’s a place where the land does the talking, and Frenzy lets it.
Today, every bottle of Frenzy comes exclusively from Mount Richmond Estate, a 100-acre family property established by Magnus Riddiford and his family in 2017. Every single acre is devoted to one thing: Sauvignon Blanc. That kind of singular focus shows in the glass. As a Certified Sustainable New Zealand Winegrower, Mount Richmond Estate is committed to honoring both the land and the environment, vintage after vintage.
The 2025 growing season was one to remember. A warm early summer gave way to a cooler January, slowing sugar buildup and giving the grapes extra hang time to develop and intensify their aromatics. Flowering was strong, crops were balanced, and harvest kicked off in April after the team waited patiently for peak ripeness. The result? A clean, vibrant, classic Marlborough year.
In the winery, the grapes were gently pressed and fermented at low temperatures (12 to 14°C) in stainless steel tanks, a deliberate choice to lock in every bit of those bright, aromatic flavors that Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is famous for.
