Description
Iconoclast Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
To be called an Iconoclast today is usually a compliment. They’re rugged individualists, bold thinkers who challenge tradition and don’t settle for ordinary. The groundbreaking spirit was the inspiration of this wine.
Iconoclast was created with Terlato winemakers Elizabeth Vianna, expert in Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, and Bryan Parker, wizard California winemaker who loves the Russian River Valley. Iconoclast wines are appellation focused, balanced and offer a tremendous value from some of the best vineyards in Napa and Sonoma valleys.
There is bold litheness of Iconoclast, but this wine reflects the more delicate and sessionable side of Cabernet – supple ”unexpected” lower tannin, higher acid, light to medium body –think Audrey Hepburn. Timeless. Ideal as a luxury socializing wine or ideal as a pairing to a wide range of dishes.
