Description
Korbel Rouge Sparkling Red
A true sparkling red wine, Korbel Rouge is a medium-dry California champagne made from Russian River Valley Pinot Noir grapes. It has a distinctive color, with intense aromas and flavors of black cherry, strawberry and plum. The rich berries blend nicely with bright tannins and earthy herbal characters.
Produced in Sonoma County, this Pinot Noir–based sparkling wine undergoes stainless-steel fermentation, with the red grapes fermented on the skins for over a week and pumped over daily to extract color and flavor. After pressing, the wine is aged in both stainless-steel tanks and oak barrels before being crafted using the traditional méthode champenoise process. It has an alcohol level of 13.0%, total acidity of 6.2 g/L, and a pH of 3.40 resulting in a balanced and refined sparkling expression.
