Description
Kris Prosecco Spumante DOC Extra Dry
Straw yellow in color, with elegant and refreshing bubbles and a good persistence, this wine is crafted to highlight freshness and a refined character. Made entirely from 100% Glera, this wine originates from the Friuli region of Italy, where the Vigna Pradamano vineyard sits at 300 feet elevation on silt and clay soils. Planted in 2015 and trained using the Cortina Semplice method, the vines yield 6.9 tons per acre, with harvest taking place in mid-September. Fermentation occurs over 40 days at 17°C in 630-hectoliter containers, with no malolactic fermentation, and the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh, delicate character. Owned by Kris Winery and produced by the Kris Winemakers Team across 650 total acres, this Prosecco is perfectly balanced with an elegant harmony between acidity and sweetness, featuring a smooth flow, remarkable length, and a savory finish that adds complexity and depth. Prosecco is ideal as an aperitif and perfectly pairable with any dish from appetizers to meat, fish, or rich and tasty salads.
