The fruit for Moss Roxx is sourced entirely from our sustainably farmed, family-owned estate vineyards in Lodi, CA. Lodi enjoys warm days and cool nights which allows the grapes to fully ripen while maintaining their natural acidity.
The 2021 growing season was characterized by the drought’s effects on vineyards in Lodi. There was reduced yield across all varietals with harvest beginning mid August. Quality looks excellent, with higher sugar content and robust natural acidity.
Bold blackberry jam flavors coat the palate, featuring notes of caramel and baking spices. Subtle hints of oak and vanilla are rounded out with moderate tannins for a smooth finish.
