Description
Rabble Red Blend
Founded by grower Rob Murray, Rabble Wine Company followed a path of true grit and determination to find success in Paso, a tough place to grow grapes and make wine. Rather than battle nature, we bottled it, fighting tooth and nail to create wines we could be proud of. Rabble proves that great wines are born from overcoming the forces of nature in the vineyard. The ancient Greeks defined the four elements of nature to be water, air, earth, and fire. Each Rabble label represents a different element of nature, which grower Rob Murray had to battle when making the wines, through scenes of destruction based on art from The Nuremberg Chronicle of the 1400s. These battles with nature to make Rabble wines, as told through the artwork on the label, proved to Rob that we cannot command nature, except by obeying her.
Rabble’s unapologetically honest wines are rooted in a winemaking approach that embraces all elements of the natural world. Each element brings its own tension, its own challenges, and its own unique vibrancy. As a result, each of our wines offers a testament to nature’s ruthless beauty.
From our sustainably grown vineyards in Paso Robles, this is an unconventional blend of the best mother nature offered us this vintage featuring: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Tannat, Tempranillo, and Malbec.
Rabble Red Blend features a brilliant purple color. The vibrant nose opens with black cherry, cocoa, and rustic rhubarb. Flavors of red berries, warm spice and leather dance across the palate. The lively acidity is a theme throughout the palate and is coupled with firm but sweet tannins on the finish
