The winter of 2019-2020 produced average rainfall throughout most of Northern California, with the bulk of precipitation January through May. Spring temperatures were mild and warm with bud break about two weeks earlier than average across the northern part of the state. Temperatures during the summer were above average with few nights of fog and cloud cover in the more coastal regions. The month of September was perfect for grape ripening and harvest was quickly wrapped up in the second week of October.
