In the summer of 1886, with his seven sons and two daughters by his side, William set out to fulfill a lifelong ambition. Together they began building his Distillery by hand, stone by stone. After a single year of work it was ready and William named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for Valley of the Deer.

Glenfiddich 12 Year Old is the flagship expression of one of the world’s most awarded single-malt Scotch whiskies, crafted in the Valley of the Deer using the same Highland spring water since 1887. This 12-year-aged malt shows a golden color with a fresh, fruity nose, notably pear, giving way to a beautifully balanced bouquet. On the palate, it’s sweet and fruity with classic notes of butterscotch, cream, malt, and subtle oak. The finish is long, smooth, and mellow, making it an easy everyday dram.
