Redwood Empire Screaming Titan is a small lot wheated bourbon built around a notably high 30% wheat mash bill, giving the whiskey a softer, sweeter profile while still maintaining plenty of structure at 96 proof.

Created as part of Redwood Empire’s experimental Small Lot Series, Screaming Titan was produced from a lot of just 198 barrels. Its mash bill consists of 61% corn, 30% wheat, 5% rye, and 4% malted barley, balancing the round sweetness of wheat with just enough rye and malt to add complexity.

In the glass, Screaming Titan shows a tarnished gold color with aromas of nectarine, sweet tea, and apple blossoms. The palate turns rich and dessert-like, bringing notes of honeycomb, flaky pastry, and peaches and cream.
