“Rosaluna” lets the moonlight guide the way, a spirit born from simplicity, tradition, and an unwavering love for the agave plant.
Our mezcal is handcrafted in the rolling hills of Santiago Matatlán, the heartland of mezcal in Oaxaca, Mexico, by the Jiménez family who have been growing, fermenting, and distilling agave for over six generations. Made with just three ingredients, hand-selected espadin agave matured up to eight years, water, and lots of love, the agave hearts are slow-roasted in earthen pits lined with pinewood fires and volcanic stone for up to five days. This true artesanal process strikes the perfect balance between a subtle smokiness and the rich, cooked character of the agave plant.
The result is a bright, approachable mezcal that welcomes newcomers and rewards the experienced drinker alike. Whether sipped on its own or shaken into a cocktail, Rosaluna is made for dancing, dining, and everything in between.
The Mezcal Joven opens with aromas of roasted agave, earthy minerality and soft citrus. On the palate, grilled pineapple, pear and lemon peel come forward alongside warm baking spice and a gentle vegetal agave character, with just a whisper of smoke weaving throughout.
