Description
Hogue Cellars Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Within sight of the Columbia River, The Hogue Cellars sources its best Cabernet Sauvignon. Pristine water from Cascade Mountain snowfields and many loam soils combine with long warm days and cool evenings to produce fruit featuring dense currant and black cherry flavors with concentrated color and supple tannins. This reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is aged 20 months in French oak and will continue to develop for another 6-10 years.
Hogue Cellars Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon offers enticing scents of black currant, blueberry, lavender, black pepper, cocoa, molasses, and dried tobacco, with touches of cream and toast. On the palate, it’s rich and creamy with flavors of blackberry, cherry, dark chocolate, maple, vanilla, and spice. Pair with pepper steak, prime rib, and dark chocolate.
