Description
Fresco di Masi Bianco Verona IGT
Masi is a leading producer of Amarone and has always interpreted the values of the Venetian regions with passion. Its history begins in 1772, the date of the Boscaini family’s first harvest in the prized vineyards of ‘Vaio dei Masi’, a valley in the heart of Valpolicella Classica. Since then, Masi has expanded, little-by-little, with successive purchases in the best historical production areas of the Venetian regions. Masi produces first-class wines primarily from native grape varieties, using traditional methods that embody sustainability and continuous technological innovation.
Fresco di Masi is part of a range of wines built around a renewed vision of sustainability, made by subtraction, minimizing intervention with unfiltered wild yeasts, no wood aging, and a naturally limited alcohol content achieved without dealcoholization. The bottle itself reflects that same philosophy, stripped of anything superfluous and designed with a light, modern aesthetic. This is a wine meant for young, informal, immediate drinking. The grapes are harvested during the coolest hours of the day and vinified right away, preserving fresh fruit character from pineapple to citrus along with delicate wild flower aromas.
The wine is a blend of Garganega, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio. Best enjoyed as an aperitif or alongside Mediterranean dishes built around pulses, vegetables, fish, chicken, and pork. Serve at 8 to 10°C
